A few things that your POA has done recently...

Road maintenance including: Mowing,Grading, Repair, Improved Drainage (V-Ditches), Check Dams have been built in many of the V-Ditches.

Property Owners who would like to contribute to the project may use the rocks on-site near End of Trail Road and build more Check Dams in the V-Ditches as they see fit. Owners may contact Mark Anderson or Daryll Smith if they need instructions.

Help Restore and ReOpen a piece of history.

The historic and classically western Klondyke Store has not been open for ten years because Lee and Bonnie, the owners, found it extremely labor intensive to keep up with selling food and beverages, cooking delicious burgers, keeping the store stocked, and trying to guess how many customers they would have each day. 

During the past month several of us have been discussing the idea of trying to re-open the store and run it with a new twist...to showcase local arts and crafts created by the residents that live along the Aravaipa. Read MORE

 

In 1991 The Bureau of Land Management released a 400+ page document which includes the history of the precious land and resources in Aravaipa. A link to the document is HERE.
